Join Francesca’s Intermediate Conversation Group, a fun and relaxed class where students practise real English in a natural and supportive setting.
Designed for intermediate learners (B1+), this class helps students build confidence, expand their vocabulary, and improve their fluency through meaningful conversations and engaging activities.
What will we do?
Each session focuses on a new topic, such as hobbies and free time, travel dreams, technology, friendships, or school life. The themes are always age-appropriate and designed to spark interest and participation.
At the beginning of each class, Francesca introduces key vocabulary and useful phrases to help students speak more clearly and confidently.
Students will then be split into groups picked by me, and will practise using the language through conversation, role-plays, games, and small group activities that encourage real communication.
Throughout the session, Francesca will be switching between the rooms and providing gentle correction and feedback to support growth in pronunciation, grammar, and overall fluency. If the child needs additional help, they can raise their hands.
With only six students per class, everyone has the chance to speak, share ideas, and connect. Francesca uses the Comprehensible Input method to ensure every learner can understand, participate, and enjoy each lesson.

Francesca Hall
Teacher
Francesca is a passionate and experienced English teacher who specialises in teaching young learners. With thousands of hours of teaching experience on Preply, she has helped children from around the world build strong foundations in English through engaging, effective, and child-friendly methods.
Her teaching is rooted in Dr. Stephen Krashen’s theory of Comprehensible Input – the idea that language acquisition happens most naturally when learners are exposed to language they can understand in meaningful, real-world contexts. Francesca designs her lessons to be fun, interactive, and tailored to each child’s individual level and interests, ensuring they feel confident and motivated to learn.
In addition to being a native English speaker, Francesca also speaks Spanish and German, which allows her to better support multilingual learners and connect with families from diverse backgrounds.
